Our Chapter

On December 15, 1991, the Alpha Psi chapter of Delta Phi Epsilon was established at Lawrence Technological University.  Our four founding sisters  --  Charla Williams, Kathi Budka, Rose Gaglio, and Maureen Marshall  --  all came together with one common belief: that the women of Lawrence Tech had limitless potential to better themselves and the world they live in.

In the 29 years that Delta Phi Epsilon has been on the LTU campus, there have been over 200 women that have taken the pledge and become "Deephers" or lifelong sisters of Delta Phi Epsilon.  Our group of diverse ladies have all had a special and unique part in the culture of the Lawrence Tech campus.

Each year our chapter continues to be heavily invested in LTU's campus life.  Two of the many events we put on include: Deepher Dude (a male beauty pageant) and ANAD Week (a week of empowering women, teaching body positivity, and spreading awareness of eating disorders). In addition to those, we also hold a Euchre Tournament, Basket Auction, and countless other volunteer and service opportunities to improve our campus and community.

The Deephers of LTU come from all walks of life.  From designers to engineers, introverts to extroverts, freshman to seniors.  We pride ourselves in being an eclectic, close bunch of strong, confident women.  In our chapter, we respect and welcome each woman. Everyone can find a home, family, and support system in Delta Phi Epsilon.
